Resources and Equipment
The 3D Laboratories house many state-of-the-art 3D rendering workstations as well as client/server solutions:
- Five GE Advantage Workstations run the latest versions of Volume Viewer. Complete 3D Analysis software includes Navigator, Vessel Analysis, CV Flow, Mass Analysis, CT Perfusion, Smart Score, Cardiac IQ (including function), Colonography, Advanced Lung Analysis, and Data Export.
- Two Vital Images workstations run the latest Vitrea software, which includes Vessel Probe, CT brain perfusion, Automated Vessel Measurement, CT cardiac, VScore, and CT colon.
- Two Merge eMed Accuimage cardiac scoring software packages feature CalScore Review with automated reporting and database integration of results. Cardiac calcium is quantified in Agatson score, volume, and mass.
Three TeraRecon Aquarius workstations utilize TeraRecon's VolumePro 3D rendering engine. Advanced clinical functionality includes cardiac CT and vascular analysis, endovascular 3D stent planning tools, time-density analysis for contrast perfusion of the brain, lung nodule tracking & analysis, and flythrough auto navigation for CT Colonography.- Three TeraRecon AquariusNET Servers provides real-time interactive diagnostic 3D to remote radiologists and clinicians by streaming images using standard PCs throughout the medical center. Radiologists and 3D technologists use AquariusNET thin client for fast 3D problem solving, interactive MIPs and MPRs, and for capturing representative images and clips for physicians.
- Two Windows-based servers for image/data storage and web services.
- One workstation runs Angiovis software, which post-processes large CT angio datasets of peripheral extremities.
One Linux based workstation runs MR oximetry software.- Each lab has a 50 inch wall mounted display monitor to aid in teaching and display of our work.
- High quality glossy prints are produced on a Codonics Horizon network printer.
