To get to the 3D lab at the Richard M. Lucas Center:

From San Francisco airport: Take 101 south to the University Avenue exit in Palo Alto.
From San Jose Airport: Take 101 north to the University Avenue exit in Palo Alto.
Head west. Follow this for several miles through downtown Palo Alto. Cross El Camino Real (Hwy 82), where University Ave. turns into Palm Drive. Turn right at the first signal onto Arboretum, then make the first left onto Quarry Road. Turn right at the next signal onto Welch Road. Follow this until you get to Pasteur Drive. We are at 1201 Welch Road, on the corner of Pasteur and Welch. It is the tallest building on the corner and is called the Richard Lucas Center for Magnetic Imaging. There is no number on the building. Make a left on Pasteur Drive and make another left onto Blake Wilbur Drive to enter the visitor parking garage on the right.

From highway 280: Take the Sand Hill Road exit in Palo Alto. Head east, and make a right onto Pasteur Drive into the medical center. Our building is on the corner of Welch and Pasteur Drives, only one block from Sand Hill Road. Continue on Pasteur Drive and park in the underground parking lot, or make a left onto Blake Wilbur Drive to enter the aternative parking garage.

Parking costs approximately $10.00 for a full day. Once you park, walk back over to the Lucas building, and enter at the MSLS entrance closest to Welch Road. Once inside the lobby, use the phone at the desk and call 5-8432 for an escort into the 3D lab.


To get to the 3D lab at the James H. Clark Center:

From San Francisco airport: Take 101 south to the University Avenue exit in Palo Alto.
From San Jose Airport: Take 101 north to the University Avenue exit in Palo Alto.
Head west. Follow this for severalmiles through downtown Palo Alto. Cross El Camino Real (Hwy 82), where University Ave. turns into Palm Drive. Turn right at the second signal onto campus drive. Turn left onto Quarry Road into the parking garage. There is visitor parking on the ground floor, but it costs $1.50 an hour in quarters. Walk across the street onto 318 Campus Drive. We are in S344. Go up the stairs or find an elevator, and enter through the double glass doors that have an S3.2 sign over them. (This doorway is right next to Peet's Coffee.) Head straight back, and then make a right. The 3D lab will be on your right.
