Volumetric Analysis of the Aorta and its Branches

Principal Investigator: Geoff Rubin
This project resulted in the development of several tools and approaches for quantifying the various effects of disease in the human aorta. Assessing the geometrical and topological structure of the aorta and its branches, including segment lengths and diameters, branch locations and angles, calcium distribution and burden, is important for planning several therapeutic approaches, including resection and stent-grafting.
